Add Utility to Likes by Boosting Post Visibility

Currently there isn't any utility attached to liking a post. It would be cool if the more likes a post has, the better visibility it gets. Users often come across great content but have run out of stakes this would help alleviate that a little

I believe that "stake (phave)" currently improves visibility, is there a difference if the goal is to improve visibility?
If you enable visibility with likes, you will welcome a lot of bots and will likely end up distributing points to bad users.

TOMO I think the Idea Gabriel is posing is that, likes can boost a post for more visibility not for more rewards in the event the post is owned by a newbie. With likes, the post gets visibility to other popular Phaverians who may stake on the posts.

ugodspecialFrom that perspective, it would be interesting if there were trends for new users!
Also, for trends, it seems like the aggregation period is long, so I think it would be fine to just do it on a daily basis.

I am not saying points for likes, I am saying let likes contribute to boosting posts, because phaves are limited and often times we come across good posts that deserves to be seen by others. This will especially help users that are just starting out in phaver and also low level users with good content but limited because they can't afford NFTs to level up. Currently users prioritise phaving high level users.

GabrielI think it is great that Phaver already has a filter for most liked that improves visibility by "likes".
I may have misunderstood a bit last time. I thought it was a suggestion to make the post more prominent on Trending and regular feeds by liking it, but it's about supporting new users by actively liking the post!
As an addition, if posts could be filtered by new users, it might make it easier to discover great new creators.
This is a bit different from what we are talking about here, but I believe that Phaver is taking measures, but we still need to take measures against bots, because bots can add as much as they want by abusing "Likes". The fact that they are made visible by likes means that they are ultimately reduced to points, so I see that as a problem.
