Keyword-Based Content Search on Phaver
planned
Juliet Obianuju
I noticed a small gap that could really elevate the platform even more: the ability to search for content by specific keywords or hashtags.
Here’s what I mean: Currently, the search functionality is limited to finding people and communities (as seen in the image). However, it would be amazing if we could also search for posts related to particular topics or keywords. Imagine being able to type a word like “Web3,” “SocialFi,” or any other keyword, and immediately get relevant posts, discussions, or insights from across the platform!
This would make Phaver an even more powerful tool for exploring the world of Web3, $SOCIAL, and beyond! I believe this feature could help users fully dive into their passions and engage with more valuable content.

Can we have the app such that one can easily search for a long OLD post, by typing one or two words from the post or better still by date?
I think it would be great!!

Particularly a post made over 6 months ago.
There was this post I made about "honey never spoils"
It would be fun for one to search by date and see one's first post on phaver.

Saska 🐨Thanks for putting my request into consideration 🫡

Thank you for posting, 余聪! I have a few more questions for you:
- Could you provide examples of the types of articles you are having difficulty finding with the current search functionality?
- Are there specific keywords or phrases you're often searching for within article content?
- How frequently do you use the search function to find specific content in articles?

I am very happy to answer your questions:
- Regarding the types of articles that are difficult to find: Currently, I find it difficult to find some highly targeted articles in the search function, such as those involving specific activities, or some industry reports and in-depth analysis. In addition, some articles containing professional terms or emerging concepts are not easy to find only through the recommended page and search users.
- Common search keywords or phrases: Keywords I often search include "cryptocurrency basics", "Bitcoin", "Ethereum", "risk management", "Airdrop", "phaver", "AI", "SOCIAL", etc. I also use some specific technical terms such as "blockchain technology", "digital currency wallet", "decentralized finance", etc. to find related articles.
- Frequency of using the search function: I use the search function almost every day, especially when conducting research or looking for specific information. If the search results are not satisfactory, I may try different keyword combinations several times in order to obtain more accurate information.

I’m delighted to give an answer to your questions.
1. Examples of Articles Difficult to Find with the Current Search Functionality: "I often have difficulty finding articles on Phaver related to specific project updates, user success stories, or detailed breakdowns of Web3 concepts. For example, if I'm searching for an article about Phaver's contributor badge requirements or detailed user testimonials about leveling up strategies, these tend to get buried within broader conversations.
- Specific Keywords or Phrases Often Searched: "I typically search for keywords like 'Phaver contributor badge,' 'leveling up tips,' 'Phaver community call,' or '$SOCIAL token analysis.' However, it's challenging to filter through relevant articles without precise key-based search functionality.
- Frequency of Using the Search Function: "I use the search function at least two or three times a week to locate specific content, especially when trying to reference past articles about platform updates, tips from community leaders, or upcoming Phaver events. It's important for keeping up with key developments.
